As a Senior Product Manager, you will strategically own the core card processing capabilities (acceptance-focused) and lead the high-impact agenda for payment recovery and authorisation uplift. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will act as a strategic problem-solver, leveraging data and ingenuity to modernise infrastructure and drive measurable commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the roadmap for Card Payments and Failed Payment Recovery, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and regulatory compliance.
  • Performance Optimisation: Proactively dive into payment performance data to identify friction points, uncover issuer behaviours, and design experiments to maximise authorisation rates.
  • Intelligent Solutions: Lead the development of sophisticated logic, such as intelligent retry routing and orchestration features, to minimise revenue leakage.
  • Platform Modernisation: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for foundational capabilities (e.g., tokenisation, authentication) to ensure a scalable and robust core platform.
  • Partnership Engagement: Collaborate with acquirers and card schemes to enhance processing capabilities and identify innovation opportunities within the transaction flow.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, specifically within Fintech, Payments, or Card Acquiring.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to translate complex data into validated product initiatives; comfortable working closely with Data/BI teams.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of card processing, authentication, and the merchant-acquiring landscape.
  • Validation Track Record: Experience using experimentation and rigorous testing to validate solution designs before engineering build.
