As a Reliability Engineer, you are someone who thrives on, relishes and enjoys the challenges of maintaining assets within a manufacturing plant. Your remit would be to ensure the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. The purpose of this role is to prevent plant breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. The crux of this role is being proactive in maintenance techniques and responding to site breakdowns promptly.

You’re not the type to shy away from challenges and this role isn’t for someone who isn’t interested in hands-on maintenance work. What’s important to you is contributing to long-term asset care strategies and ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong multi-skilled diagnostic skills. This role requires an individual who is dedicated to the maintenance of assets and invested in long-term reliability initiatives. For this role, we’re really keen to bring in someone who is enthusiastic about plant maintenance and has a strong work ethic with previous experience working in a Reliability role.

The Key Requirements...

  • Proven 3–5 years multi-skilled engineering background in manufacturing environments
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft tools
  • Strong knowledge of FMEA, RCA, CBM methodologies
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with Permit to Work systems and contractor management
  • Regulatory Knowledge certifications (ISO standards)
  • Completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
  • IOSH Certification
