Location: Nottingham

Shifts: Monday to Friday dayshift (46 hours)

We are looking for an Asset Care Technician to support day-to-day maintenance and asset care activities across our site. This is a junior maintenance role, ideal for someone new into their engineering career or worked as an operator who has completed or part-completed an apprenticeship and is looking to build hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will focus on planned maintenance, inspections and basic fault finding, working alongside experienced engineers to keep equipment running reliably and prevent breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance and routine equipment checks
  • Support asset care activities to prevent breakdowns
  • Assist with basic mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Complete lubrication, inspections and component changes
  • Record work completed and report emerging issues
  • Work safely and follow GMP and site standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Engineering related qualification
  • Ideal but not necessary engineering apprenticeship completed or part-complete
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (conveyors, bearings, drives, etc.)
  • Reliable, organised and safety-focused
