Job title: HR Advisor (part time hours) Location: Golborne WA3 2SH This role is part-time 24 hours per week, with Monday being a key working day. We offer flexibility to work across 5, 4 or 3 days per week (flexible to suit you) on site at our Golborne distribution site (WA3 2SH). So, what’s it all about? As our next HR Advisor you will be passionate about our people and enjoy building strong relationships with all our colleagues and their representatives, bringing a positive, encouraging and people-centric approach to your work. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our logistics teams, acting as a trusted employee relations (ER) expert to provide end to end case management and support, coach and guide our managers in the implementation of people processes and effective people management. As our stand alone HR Advisor, you’ll work alongside the HR Manager who is situated at our Dagenham distribution site. You’ll be responsible for driving the alignment & execution of the People Strategy & Plans to develop, keep and enhance the contribution of employees to the short and long-term business needs. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with our Union Representatives to foster an effective and beneficial industrial relations partnership on site to support this process. To thrive in this role, you’ll be approachable, influential, and proactive, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. You\’ll work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team, taking initiative without needing constant direction. You’ll also be involved in engagement activities, support recruitment, and contribute to creating a positive workplace environment. This role requires you to be on site for your working hours, however we can offer some flexibility in respect of your core working hours to provide you with a healthy work-life balance. The Key requirements.. * Demonstrate strong employee relations case management experience. * Previous experience working in a unionised environment. * CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent by experience. * In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and a strong foundation and understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal compliance requirements. * Experience of working within a Manufacturing or Logistics environment (desirable).
