As our next Controls Engineer, you will need to be assertive and tenacious. Working with a team of skilled professionals, you will be required to prioritise the training and development of the shift engineers' ability within automation, in line with company standards, whilst supporting them with more challenging tasks.
You will be comfortable adapting to different situations that arise in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable dealing with and resolving issues while working on a range of automated equipment. You will be instrumental in growing the knowledge and ability of all things automation on site, and there may be times you will be called out of hours to assist.
The Key Requirements:
- To have a thorough understanding of automation within a factory environment
- To be able to program PLCs systems (Rockwell)
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a controls engineer
