We’re looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our team at Hovis Avonmouth. The role of the compliance engineer is to be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing process equipment and systems meet regulatory, safety, quality and optimum maintenance standards. This role plays a key part in the engineering function, as well as across the site. So having the ability to build strong relationships across engineering, manufacturing and health & safety is key. There will also be the requirement to oversee external contractors and be the lead in terms of insurance audits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Multi-skilled engineering experience on manufacturing plants
  • ONC/NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering maintenance
  • Strong Knowledge of compliance documentation and maintenance
  • Understanding of GMP practices
  • Able to self-manage and prioritise own workload to satisfy commitments and meet agreed deadlines.
