The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Location: Belfast Bakery (BT12 6LP)

Shifts: 39 hours per week, Monday Thursday 7am 3.30pm, Friday 7am 2pm

As our next vehicle services operative, you will be responsible for vehicle cleanliness both interior and exterior and assisting in workshop duties. You will be able to carry out minor defect repairs when appropriate including the collection and delivery of vehicles to Hovis sites across Northern Ireland. You will be keen to comply with company and road safety standards, and you will maintain all vehicles to a high standard.

You will be responsible for the below:

  • Minor vehicle defect repairs
  • Vehicle cleaning interior and exterior
  • Workshop assistance and cleaning
  • Vehicle delivery and collection to and from Hovis depots in NI

This list is only an example of the tasks you may have to undertake, and you will be expected to work with the Vehicle Services team to meet all appropriate KPIs.

To excel in this role, you will need to be adaptable and resilient. You will need to be able to find effective solutions and tackle problems using logical options. You will be happy to take on new challenges and continuously learn about areas within the vehicle services department.

The Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety within a transport department
  • 3 Years + experience with an organisation that runs its own fleet
  • HGV Class C Driving Licence
  • Driver CPC certificates up to date
