Shift Pattern: 12-hour days and nights rotating
As our next Maintenance Engineer, you will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within. Using your own initiative will be key a lot of the time. Working with a team of skilled Engineers, you will be responsible for not only repairing issues with the bakery production lines but encouraged to implement positive ideas in the reliability of the machines moving forward. You will be instrumental in the diagnosing of mechanical faults within the factory. Your remit will be to carry out essential machine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the production line and limit downtime. You will be passionate about the role Engineers play in making improvements and how you can proactively influence situations instead of just being reactive. In this role, you will ensure faults are found quickly and repaired efficiently.
The Key Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Previous experience as an Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic
