As our next HR Manager, you will lead our onsite HR team and play a critical role as a strategic partner to our Site Manager. You have excellent collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to build relationships and rapport with colleagues at all levels. You relish the opportunity to make the role your own, driving the HR agenda and with the autonomy to make your own decisions in collaboration with the Site Manager. You will promote effective employee and industrial relations partnerships, and will proactively manage the HR workload to achieve KPIs in alignment with the business plan. You’ll work closely with the Regional Head of HR on group projects and enjoy the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the people agenda.

This role isn’t for you if you are looking for a transactional HR Manager role with structure and consistency. Instead, you will be excited by the opportunity to influence key stakeholders and develop your HR team as well as the wider management teams.

Your remit will include being the people champion onsite, acting as the employee relations expert and providing an escalation point for any ER queries, identifying training and development needs of our colleagues. You’ll also be involved in strategic workforce planning exercises, working in collaboration with the senior leadership team and Regional Head of HR to deliver a ‘fit for future’ workforce.

The Key Requirements...

  • Experience in a generalist HR role and excellent employee relations knowledge.
  • Proven experience of partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver against people and business strategies.
  • The ability to coach and guide management teams to achieve effective resolution across a full range of people-related queries and challenges.
