As our next Engineering Team Leader, you will be resilient and adaptable due to the nature of the fast-paced environment you will be working within. Using your own initiative will be key a lot of the time. Working with a team of skilled Engineers, you will be responsible for not only repairing issues that arise with the bakery production lines but encouraged to implement positive ideas in the reliability of the machines moving forward. This is a key role, being the link between the shift team and management. You will be instrumental in the diagnosing of both electrical and mechanical faults within the factory. Your remit will be to carry out essential machine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the production line and limit downtime. You will need to show passion about the role Engineers can play in making improvements and how you as the Engineering Team Leader can proactively influence situations instead of just being reactive. You will be working less than half the year due to the fantastic shift pattern on offer.

The Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader, whether on a permanent or stand-in basis
  • History of working within a food, FMCG or industrial manufacturing environment
