Location: Belfast Bakery (BT12 6LP)
Shifts: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Friday 7am to 2.30pm
As our next vehicle services technician, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of a commercial fleet of varied makes and models including 16TDaf and Iveco Daily 7.2T. You will be keen to comply with company and road safety standards, and you will maintain all vehicles to a high standard. You will play an active role in ensuring that the delivery of great quality bread products to our customers is possible.
You will be responsible for the below:
- Carrying out routine maintenance and safety inspections
- MOT preparation of vehicles
- Tail lift servicing and repair
- Body work maintenance and repair including shutter doors
- Vehicle diagnostics (Texa system)
- Covering control of Vehicle Service Unit Phone when needed
This list is only an example of the tasks you may have to undertake, and you will be expected to work with the Vehicle Services team to meet all appropriate KPIs. To excel in this role, you'll need to be adaptable and resilient. You will need to be able to find effective solutions and tackle problems using logical and systematic options. You will be happy to take on new challenges and continuously learn about areas within the vehicle services department.
The Key Requirements:
- Level 3 HGV Technician Qualification
- HGV Class C Driving License
- 3 years experience in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicle fleets
- Vehicle diagnostic experience
