About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery. This is a hands-on position requiring strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement. Working across both day and night shifts, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and site services, responding to breakdowns, and supporting site performance through reliability and efficiency improvements.
Key Accountabilities
- Diagnose and repair automation, electrical, and mechanical faults during breakdowns
- Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Support and implement the site engineering strategy
- Lead and deliver continuous improvement projects on time and within budget
- Contribute to improved site performance through KPIs such as OEE and CCOs
- Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety
- Provide training, coaching, and technical support to operators and fellow engineers
- Support wider site activities as required to ensure operational success
