Join Hovis Bakeries as a Class C Delivery Driver. Are you looking for a driving role where you can be part of a supportive team, deliver products people know and love, and work for a business that puts safety first? We're looking for Class C Delivery Drivers to join our team at our Glasgow Depot, delivering our bakery products to customers across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

The Role

  • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
  • Completing vehicle checks before starting your route
  • Loading and unloading products safely as required
  • Following road safety, transport and company procedures
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to our customers
  • Working closely with the wider depot and transport team
  • Taking care of your vehicle and reporting any issues promptly

Our drivers typically work 5 days over 7, including weekends on a rota, with a 3:00am start and an average working week of 45.5 hours.

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid Class C (Category C) driving licence
  • A valid Driver CPC
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving
  • A customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work a 3:00am start and the advertised shift pattern
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of the wider depot team
  • Multi-drop delivery experience is helpful but isn't essential. Newly qualified Class C drivers are welcome to apply, and we'll provide a full induction and support to help you get started.
