Finance Assistant – Sales Ledger and Payroll (permanent part time)

Due to 30% growth this year, with average year on year growth of 33% since 2019, we need to expand our team at our Head office Liberty Way, Nuneaton CV11 6RZ. EST 1972 with teams and locations across the UK and exporting to over 45 countries.

The Role:

Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of multiple group companies, including:

  • Accounts Receivable management, including chasing aged debt
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Expense management
  • Entering information on hours worked, starters and leavers into payroll
  • Processing pension contributions
  • Producing management reports
  • Contacting customers and suppliers to resolve queries

Essential skills

  • Highly numerate
  • Able to work with minimal supervision following agreed processes and procedures
  • Strong teamwork and initiative
  • Experience of working with Xero accounting software
