Hover, Inc is an emerging leader in the development of integrated hardware and software computing platforms, and a custom ARINC 653 compliant Real Time Operating System (RTOS) with custom development tools and an ARINC 615A Data Loader. Hover, Inc is developing innovative solutions for traditional and non-traditional aircraft types, i.e. aircraft with electric/hybrid-electric powertrains and electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL), autonomous and semi-autonomous aircraft.

You will be responsible for the technical delivery of embedded software applications through concept design, prototyping, validation, and verification. This is a diverse role covering competencies within embedded software engineering primarily using embedded C, and test and validation/verification activities. Technical ownership and delivery of embedded software design through the entire development cycle.

  • Provide engineering support for development of software systems including system integration.
  • Complete hardware- and software-in-the-loop testing.
  • Design, development, and testing of various computing platforms.

Degree in embedded software engineering or equivalent.

  • IEEE 802.1 Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) experience.
  • Experience of the software design lifecycle within aerospace, automotive or similar embedded software development environment.
  • Experience with image processing algorithms including machine learning.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
