Lead on our data & business analytics to support success on and off the pitch You will be responsible for driving data governance, protection, and analytics enablement across the club. In addition, this role includes hands-on responsibilities for delivering a best-in-class data solution, ensuring accurate data input and output across systems and processes.
You will own the technology team’s data strategy, ensuring data is protected, compliant, well-managed, and used effectively to generate insights and support decision-making in key areas: Supporter Platforms, Player Performance, and Head Office Performance.
You will lead on data protection, working closely with the club’s Data Protection Officer to ensure that GDPR compliance and best practices are embedded across systems and processes. You will also play a critical role in enabling and delivering analytics, including dashboards, KPIs, and reports, and supporting stakeholders in unlocking value from data.
About You We are looking for someone who is data-driven, with extensive experience in data governance, analytics, or technology roles. You will need an in-depth understanding of data protection regulations such as the GDPR and UK Data Protection Act. Our ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience delivering impactful analytics dashboards and reports across business functions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Most importantly you will have a passion for data-driven decision-making, technology, and supporting performance and innovation across a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
