Houston & Hawkes are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Hospitality Assistant to join our team, providing a first class service based at our client site in central London. Our hospitality department caters for working lunches, buffets, teas & coffees as well as canapé events and functions.
Hospitality Assistant Duties:
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware is polished
- Serve all food to the highest standard
- Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner and to the Houston & Hawkes standard
- Keep a record of all hospitality delivered and ensure it is all collected at the stated time
- Ensure hospitality rooms are left tidy
- Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
- Monitor and maintain hygiene and cleaning standards
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and tact
Hospitality Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience as Hospitality Assistant within contract catering, 5* hotel or fine dining brasserie
- Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
- Passionate, friendly, diligent and a great team player
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and work quickly and efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met irrespective of conflicting priorities
- Diplomatic, with the ability to deal with confidential matters discreetly
