At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join one of our most exciting locations. Based within a lively student campus, you'll work alongside a talented brigade delivering fresh, seasonal food with a strong retail offer while supporting hospitality and special events throughout the year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, loves working with quality ingredients and wants to continue developing your skills within an award-winning independent caterer.
THE ROLE
- Prepare and present fresh, seasonal dishes to the highest standards
- Take ownership of your section and ensure consistency throughout service
- Support a busy retail food offer and premium hospitality events
- Work closely with the senior kitchen team to deliver exceptional food every day
- Assist with stock control, ordering and food preparation
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
- Support and encourage junior members of the brigade
- Contribute new ideas and help develop exciting seasonal menus
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step
- A passion for fresh food and modern hospitality
- Experience within high-volume retail catering is advantageous
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Pride in delivering consistently high standards
- A willingness to learn, develop and grow your career
