At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a Catering Assistant who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for every customer.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to support every part of the catering operation.
THE ROLE
- Serve breakfast and lunch with confidence and enthusiasm
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Keep food counters replenished, fresh and beautifully presented
- Support the chefs with light food preparation
- Prepare meeting room refreshments and hospitality when required
- Keep dining areas, service points and back of house areas clean and organised
- Assist with washing up and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Help with setting up before service and clearing down afterwards
- Work closely with the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous experience within hospitality or catering is desirable
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation
- Pride in delivering consistently high standards
