Location: London, St. James\’s

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday

Houston & Hawkes are looking for an experienced Fine Dinning Food Service Assistant to join our team, providing a first class service based at our brand new contract in the heart of London.

If you enjoy serving customers and you have a high level of professionalism, you’ll have a great opportunity to develop your career. As a Front of House Assistant, you will support our catering team to help us deliver truly incredible food experiences

Catering Assistant Duties:

• Greeting customers and delivering excellent customer service
• Making recommendations to customers and answering any questions
• Taking orders from customers
• Processing payments on the cash register
• Ensuring the display is always well stocked
• Managing stock levels and identifying ordering requirements
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards

Catering Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience as Waiter/Waitress within contract catering, 5* hotel or fine dining brasserie
• Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
• Passionate, friendly, diligent and a great team player
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude with the ambition to progress
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Good organisational skills
