About the Role
As Assistant Hospitality Manager, you’ll support the Hospitality & Events Manager in the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality, innovative events and client hospitality. You’ll lead front‑of‑house teams, ensure spaces are set and service‑ready, and maintain exceptional standards across every function. You’ll be hands‑on, people‑focused and organised – overseeing rosters, service quality, fine dining, and event execution with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing daily operations across hospitality and events
- Supervising and supporting the service team to deliver seamless, attentive service
- Overseeing setup of meeting rooms, reception coffee bars, and event spaces
- Monitoring standards of cleanliness, presentation, and equipment maintenance
- Managing team rosters, ensuring appropriate cover and controlling overtime
- Handling alcohol stock levels and equipment checks
- Managing high‑profile events, including fine dining and VIP functions
- Collaborating with internal departments and client teams
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and allergen regulations
- Supporting team training and engagement
- Maintaining accurate administrative records and documentation
