The Role:
We’re looking for someone who can take charge of onboarding new hosts. Your job is to grow the business by turning interest into action, helping potential clients understand why Houst is the right choice and guiding them through the sign-up process. You’ll be their first real touchpoint, so we’re counting on you to make it count.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage your inbound sales pipeline, these are people already interested in Houst.
- Respond quickly and helpfully to new host enquiries.
- Qualify leads and pitch our services over calls and email in a clear, engaging way.
- Maintain a strong conversion rate from initial contact through to signed agreements.
- Develop and experiment with your own outbound strategy (cold calling, follow-ups, etc.) to bring new hosts into the fold.
- Work closely with the onboarding and ops teams to ensure new hosts get off to a smooth start.
- Ideally some experience in inbound and outbound sales, in a startup, SaaS, or fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator, you know how to get a message across clearly and with a bit of charm, whether over the phone, on email, or in person.
- Competitive by nature and motivated by targets, but still a team player.
- Genuinely excited about using tech to shake up the property world.
- Comfortable working with CRMs, bonus points if you’ve used Close.
- Any experience in the property space is a plus, but we’re more interested in attitude and aptitude.
- Open to working the occasional Saturday morning as part of a team rota, we don’t do it often, but it’s part of keeping our hosts happy.
