We're building a new data team — and we're looking for a skilled, curious Data Analyst to help shape it. You'll join our Service Excellence and Innovation team at a genuinely exciting moment, with the chance to influence how data is used, delivered and trusted across Housing Solutions. You'll turn raw data into reliable insight, produce dashboards and analysis that support operational and transformation decisions, and help us move away from manual spreadsheets toward automated, well-governed solutions. You'll also play a key part in improving data quality, supporting governance, and getting us ready for greater use of automation and AI. We're a Microsoft-based environment, so you'll be working across tools like SQL Server, Azure and Power BI. As our capability grows, there's significant scope to move into data engineering, AI and wherever the landscape takes us — and we'll invest in your development if you bring the curiosity and commitment to grow with us.
You bring strong analytical skills, a problem‑solving mindset and a genuine interest in using data to improve services. You enjoy working with structured datasets, transforming raw information into meaningful insight, and producing clear, accurate and well‑structured reports and dashboards. You understand the importance of data quality, governance and trusted information in decision‑making. You communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical colleagues, work with accuracy and attention to detail, and can manage competing priorities effectively. Knowledge of the housing sector is helpful but not essential — what matters most is your curiosity and your commitment to good data practice. Above all, you want your work to mean something — you'd rather use your skills to improve people's lives.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For:
- Confident writing SQL and working with data from multiple sources
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Working knowledge of Python for data transformation, automation or analysis
- Experience documenting datasets, definitions and reporting processes
- Familiarity with cloud‑based data environments or analytics engineering practices (desirable)
