Your new role: We’re looking for a Decorator to join our communal decorations team, helping us maintain and improve homes and communal spaces across Yeovil and the surrounding areas. This is more than just a decorating role. Every day, you’ll help create places our customers are proud to call home. You’ll carry out internal communal decorating works as well as external decorations, including full wash‑downs of properties. You’ll take pride in delivering work to a high standard while providing an outstanding experience for our customers. As you’ll often be working in and around occupied homes, communication is key. We’ll be looking for someone who enjoys working with people, keeps customers informed, and goes the extra mile to deliver a positive experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering high-quality decorating works safely, efficiently and right first time.
  • Completing planned work within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Ordering materials where needed and managing jobs effectively.
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the works.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Abri, demonstrating our values in every interaction.

What you’ll need: You’ll be a motivated and customer‑focused decorator who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You’ll bring a positive, can‑do attitude, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering great service. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you’ll be covering a large geographical area and taking part in our out‑of‑hours call‑out rota. Please note that while some qualifications or previous experience may reference tiling, tiling is not required as part of this role.
