Overview
We’re looking for a Community Safety Officer to help create safe, sustainable communities where customers are proud to live.
Responsibilities
- Manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases from initial assessment through to resolution, carrying out investigations, gathering evidence, preparing witness statements, and supporting legal action where required.
- Work closely with those affected by ASB and those responsible to achieve positive and lasting outcomes.
- Represent Alliance Homes in partnership meetings and, where appropriate, County Court proceedings.
- Collaborate with the Housing team to deliver excellent services and support learning and development opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in ASB, social housing, tenancy management, community safety, or other customer-focused roles with transferable skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills; ability to build positive relationships, manage challenging situations, and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work proactively with empathy and put customers at the heart of what you do.
- Enhanced DBS check (subject to satisfactory).
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle or alternative means of transport to meet role requirements.
