Make a real difference to disability inclusion in Wythenshawe
We’re looking for a passionate and organised Project Support Officer to help deliver the Wythenshawe Enabled Programme – an innovative, grant-funded initiative designed with and for disabled residents.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a programme that empowers disabled residents to influence decisions, develop community leadership skills and help shape more accessible and inclusive services across Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG).
Working closely with residents, community organisations, volunteers and colleagues, you’ll help coordinate activities, events and partnerships, ensuring disabled residents are at the heart of decision-making. You’ll also support monitoring and evaluation, helping demonstrate the impact the programme is having across our communities.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Wythenshawe Enabled Programme by:
- Coordinating programme activities, events and resident engagement opportunities.
- Supporting meaningful co-production and involvement with disabled residents.
- Working alongside local voluntary and community sector partners to deliver shared outcomes.
- Maintaining project plans, action logs, risk registers and performance reporting.
- Organising accessible meetings, workshops, training sessions and community events.
- Supporting and helping moderate the programme’s digital community.
- Gathering feedback, monitoring KPIs and producing reports for funders and stakeholders.
- Helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on resident feedback and learning.
