Are you someone who enjoys being out and about, meeting people and making a real difference in your community?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Neighbourhoods Caretaker to join our team in this brand-new role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems and delivering great customer service while being out in our neighbourhoods every day.
As our Neighbourhoods Caretaker, no two days will be the same!
You will be working out and about in our local community building relationships with customers and carrying out internal and external building checks, resolving issues as they occur.
Whether you’re chatting with residents, reporting repairs, carrying out minor handyperson tasks, supporting our garden tool hire pilot, or helping to keep communal areas clean and litter‑free, you’ll play a key role in creating places people are proud to call home.
About You
You will have great customer service and interpersonal skills. You will be proactive, practical and be able to demonstrate flexibility where needed.
Gardening or DIY skills would be great, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
Knowledge of Health & Safety or building management is a bonus, but we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
As this role involves travelling across our communities, a van will be provided so you’ll need a full driving licence.
We review applications as they are received and may close the vacancy early, so apply today if you’re interested in helping us build stronger, safer communities across North Somerset.
