Are you someone who thrives in a people-focused role, enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service? If so, we’d love you to join our Independent Living team as our new Independent Living Hub Assistant.
This is a rewarding and varied role at the heart of our extra care and independent living services, supporting older and vulnerable residents to feel safe, supported and connected. You’ll be the friendly face of the hub, helping residents with day-to-day enquiries, keeping our reception running smoothly, and providing essential administrative support that keeps the service moving.
About the Role
As an Independent Living Hub Assistant, you’ll help ensure our hub offers a warm, responsive and professional service. You’ll:
- Welcome residents and visitors at reception, acting as the first point of contact
- Handle phone, email and face-to-face enquiries with confidence, calmness and care
- Support residents by logging repairs, arranging appointments and offering practical guidance
- Maintain accurate records, profiling data and administrative systems
- Assist with tenancy sign-ups, activity room bookings and support plan administration
- Help coordinate scheme activities, events and promotional materials
- Monitor door entry, CCTV and assistive technology systems
- Carry out welfare checks and recognise when residents may need additional support
- Work closely with coordinators, managers, contractors and partner agencies
- Contribute to a “one team” culture that always puts customers first
The role combines customer service with meaningful day-to-day involvement in residents’ lives — making it a genuinely impactful position within our Independent Living community.
