What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead, support and develop the team, coordinate month-end activity and contribute to management accounts and reporting.
Working with Senior Accountants, Finance Business Partners and the wider Finance team, you’ll ensure issues are reflected accurately, processes remain robust and financial information is clearly understood.
You’ll strengthen analysis and reporting, support annual budgets and our understanding of costs, and collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders on statutory returns, accounts and budgets.
You’ll champion strong financial controls, share knowledge and keep improving how we work.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a qualified accountant, hold a relevant qualification or bring equivalent experience.
You’ll have experience leading people in finance, with strong knowledge of transactional finance, month-end processes, financial returns and stakeholder reporting.
A clear and supportive communicator, you build trusted relationships and bring people together.
You’re confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel, able to challenge the detail and turn complex information into reliable insight.
You’ll also keep your knowledge current and demonstrate our values and behaviours in everything you do.
You’ll be working from our Eastleigh office a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that’s at another of our offices, a cafe or at home.
