Are you an experienced assistant looking for a new opportunity? We’re looking for someone to join our fast-paced communications team, who has the passion and organisational skills to help us communicate effectively with our colleagues, customers, stakeholders and the media. You’ll be the glue that holds us all together.
You’ll support our team build and keep our communications channels up to date and relevant, so IT skills and knowledge of digital platforms are key. You’ll also have a keen eye for detail, making sure our tone of voice and brand is consistent. Speaking to the right people through these channels is vital so we’ll want you to make sure our distribution lists and contact details are correct too.
News travels fast so we’ll need someone who can spot opportunities or risks, keep us up to date on what’s in the news, track our coverage and ensure our subscriptions are renewed. Everything we communicate is evidence-based, so you’ll be a whizz at Microsoft applications with excellent literacy and numeracy skills, producing reports and keeping our metrics up to date to be certain our channels are working and our messages are landing effectively.
And in the world of communications, no two days are ever the same, so we’re looking for someone who has the ability to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changes to work and priorities at short notice. This role can be based from our offices in Yeovil, Eastleigh or Bracknell, but regular travel to all offices across Abri’s geography will be essential.
