About the role:
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative - Plasterer who has an open minded approach, where required to develop new skills to join our in-house maintenance team, Property Plus. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services. What you’ll do:
As a Multi-Skilled Operative plasterer you would be covering a wide range of workstreams alongside your primary core skill as a plasterer, these include installation of kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms in the Planned team. You will be responsible for carrying out plastering works such as skimming, patch repairs, bonding out and drylining all to a high standard and finish.
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of nationally recognised qualification in plastering/relevant trade or an approved certificated qualification (or time experience)
- Working knowledge of current building regulations
- Previous experience of plastering with proof of completed work (Essential)
- Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment (preferred but not essential)
- Minor Carpenter / Joiner experience i.e. completing different trade work
- Basic Plumbing skills
- Experience in decorative works
- Outstanding customer care skills
- Full UK Driving Licence as travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire will be part of the role.
