We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose‑led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Ensure properties are returned to a high standard of cleanliness with tight turnaround times.
- Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring them up to a high standard in accordance with the Council's targets prescribed in the contract.
- Clean rooms and communal areas as directed, maintaining all rooms to a high quality standard.
- Prepare void rooms for new residents by cleaning and removing rubbish correctly.
- Check kitchen and laundry room appliances are clean, free from hazards, and that common areas remain hazard‑free.
- Ensure all communal areas are hygienic and well maintained.
- Report any repairs to the maintenance office team.
- Carry out sharps sweeps.
- Follow all COSHH and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the work of the Housing Network and ability to represent the organisation positively.
- Experience in professional cleaning, ideally including end‑of‑tenancy or deep‑cleaning environments.
- Good understanding of cleaning tools and equipment.
- Full UK Driver's Licence.
