Quantity Surveyor – Full-Time | Victoria
Prime Line Facades is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least 3 years of work experience to join our growing team, based in Victoria. This is a great opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of facade and cladding projects with a well-established commercial contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural and engineering drawings
- Develop detailed cost plans for budgetary control, including bills of quantities, and manage progress payments
- Monitor projects throughout the construction phase, adjusting costs to reflect variations
- Prepare tender documentation and assist with tender analysis, contractor evaluation, and subcontractor/supplier quotations
- Evaluate tenders and provide recommendations on contractor and subcontractor selection
- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and cost plans
- Track changes to drawings, specifications, and scope, and assess their cost implications
- Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and quantities
- Liaise with key stakeholders including asset owners, financiers, architects, builders, engineers, and developers
