Maco Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Mitcham VIC 3132. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician and assist with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology and contribute to the growth and success of our innovative clean energy solutions business. As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive electrical services to our residential and commercial clients.

Key Requirements
  • At least 3 years of full-time experience as an electrician.
  • No license required, as the role will be performed under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems safely and efficiently.
  • Install, assemble, and maintain wiring systems, control panels, and electrical components.
  • Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
  • Position and install electrical switchboards.
  • Select, cut and connect wire and cable to terminals and connectors.
  • Set up electrical systems in new buildings, renovations, or industrial sites.
  • Follow safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout systems.
