This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join Your Housing Group’s Repairs and Maintenance Division in the Responsive team and provide a high quality Plastering repairs service to our customers. Responsibilities
- You will live within your regional area of work and will ideally also be within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed.
- You will be responsible for providing a quality repairs service to our customers, travelling to designated properties, undertaking, and completing all aspects of plastering repair work.
- As a member of our responsive maintenance and repairs team, you will carry out plastering work on maintenance, major and minor construction works, for both empty homes and tenanted properties owned by Your Housing Group.
- You will be confident and capable, ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity, and safety.
Qualifications and Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (ideally no more than 6 points)
- Experience in patching, skimming, boarding, 2 coat plaster work, internal and external rendering, coving and cornice and insulation.
- May be required from time to time to undertake minor joinery works, repointing and brickwork, often associated with plastering work.
- NVQ Level 3 Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency.
- Basic health and safety knowledge in a repair’s environment.

Remuneration and Benefits
We offer £36,089 for a 40-hour week, and 23 days annual leave, plus 3 discretionary days between Christmas & New Year, plus Bank Holidays. On top of this, we provide a great benefits package, including a contributory pension where we match whatever you choose to contribute (up to 8%), an advanced level Healthcare cash plan through Medicash, 24/7 GP Access, and discounts at cinemas and other retail.
