As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting residents to help them achieve their goals, develop independent living and life skills and build excellent relationships with residents, colleagues and professionals from external agencies.
Our Project Officers in Young People Services work on a 3 weekly rolling rota:
- Week A: 8am-4pm
- Week B: 10am-6pm
- Week C: 12pm-8pm
The role includes some element of lone working and scheme cover. Every day is different; you could be delivering 1-2-1 support sessions on life skills, reviewing an action plan, supporting a young person to a medical appointment, contributing to a multi-agency meeting or facilitating group activities as part of the learning programme.
First and foremost, you will be providing key worker support to our young people. Working through bespoke support and action plans, tailored to their specific needs, to help them develop the life skills necessary to move on, live independently and thrive in the community.

Bridge Foyer is a supported housing project for 31 young people aged 16-25 and offers them the opportunity to make progress in their lives, to build resilience and meet their aspirations.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and will require the post holder to carry out 'Regulated Activity' as defined under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, as part of Your Housing Group's pre-employment checks, successful applicants will be required to complete a satisfactory Enhanced DBS with barred list(s) check.
In return we offer £23,216 for a 35 hour week, and 25 days annual leave (holidays also increase with time served).
