We are now looking for an Outreach Worker to join our Ealing Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) Service on a full-time, fixed-term contract until March 2026, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
As an Outreach Worker, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed support to women and men experiencing domestic violence while living in the community. Specifically, you will support a caseload of service users, including those at high risk referred through MARAC, empowering them to achieve safety, stability, and improved wellbeing. You’ll also co-ordinate interventions, advocate for access to specialist services, and work with other agencies to deliver effective, integrated support.
Additionally, you will:
- Conduct risk assessments, develop safety plans, and monitor support progress
- Create outcome-focused individual support plans and facilitate DVA awareness sessions
- Deliver culturally sensitive and needs-focused support, including advice and advocacy
- Participate in the Out of Hours emergency on-call rota
- Promote service user involvement in shaping services and outcomes
About You
To be considered as an Outreach Worker, you will need:
- At least two years’ experience working with vulnerable adults from diverse backgrounds in a floating support role
- Experience conducting individual and risk assessments and developing support plans
- Knowledge of the impact of domestic violence and abuse on survivors and their families
- An understanding of welfare benefits, safeguarding, and multi-agency working
- Strong knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- A high degree of confidentiality, trust, and reliability
Education to NVQ Level 3, A-Level standard, or equivalent would be advantageous but is not essential.
