About Us
Housing for Women is a registered charity and independent housing association. We champion female empowerment by providing and promoting affordable homes for women and gender-specific support services. Since 1934, we have been working to build a more equal society for women, a world where everyone has a safe roof over their head regardless of circumstance, where violence against women is no longer tolerated.
We are now looking for a Director of Operations to join us on a fixed term, full-time basis. We offer flexibility on hours e.g. 4 days a week/compressed hours for the right candidate.

The Role

About You
To be considered for the role of Director of Operations, you will need:
- Substantial experience of strategic change management and leadership
- Substantial experience as a director within a social housing environment or similar
- Significant experience of Housing Services, customer service delivery and complaints resolution
- Significant experience of Asset and Estate management service delivery
- Degree level or equivalent
- Demonstrable evidence of developing and delivering a positive performance/continuous improvement culture in a service delivery setting
- Demonstrable experience of managing large/complex budgets
- Strong ICT skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong numeracy
- Persuasive presentation skills
