As part of this successful housing group, we are the innovative construction and trading business known as Three Sixty SHG Ltd. We have formed and grown since inception back in 2016, with a pipeline of capital works projects, new build and other external refurbishment & alterations projects. Three Sixty has the vision to design, build, refurbish and regenerate places to improve economic and social outcomes for people. We are currently recruiting for 3 Electricians to join our team.
The core purpose of this role is to work as part of the Three Sixty voids electrical team. You will also be expected to provide support on all electrical workstreams being carried out by Three Sixty, when required. The role also includes being part of the out of hours team, picking up emergency call outs, which is managed on a rota basis.
Joining Three Sixty as an Electrician you will undertake electrical works to domestic properties, carrying out fixed wire testing and associated remedial works, complying with current codes of practices and regulations, in line with the current edition of BS7671, whilst upholding safety guidelines. This role also includes completing multiskilling tasks, where required. You will liaise with both clients and customers, undertake fault diagnosis and reports for domestic properties, manage your own workload, whilst adhering to relevant Health and Safety legislation. You will identify and correct non-compliant installations that do not meet the required specifications, coupled with designing electrical installation upgrades to meet current standards.
Responsibilities- Carry out electrical works to domestic properties, including fixed wire testing and remedial works.
- Work as part of the Three Sixty voids electrical team and support other electrical workstreams when required.
- Be part of the out of hours team and respond to emergency call outs on a rota basis.
- Ensure compliance with current codes of practice and BS7671, and uphold safety guidelines.
- Diagnose faults, prepare reports, and manage own workload in line with Health & Safety legislation.
- Identify and correct non-compliant installations and design upgrades to meet current standards.
- Undertake multiskilling tasks as required.
- Latest qualification: City & Guilds 2382 IEE Wiring Regulations (including amendments).
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in electrical installations.
- City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing and C&G 2377 in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
- Experience carrying out multiskilling tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal.
