Are you reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards? We are looking for a Relief Cleaner to join our Temporary Supported Housing service, Christchurch House in Ipswich.
The purpose of this post is to provide cleaning at the service, to all communal and staff areas, such as the halls, corridors and stairways, kitchens, staff room and offices, in addition to the cleaning of any voids.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Cleaning in accordance with agreed schedules, covering daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks.
- Being responsible for keeping storage facilities tidy and locked when not in use in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Reporting any items which are becoming worn or damaged and need replacement.
- Removing and disposing of litter and keeping all communal and staff areas tidy.
- Carrying out any other cleaning works as directed by the Service Manager (such as voids).
About Christchurch House: Christchurch House is located in the heart of Ipswich Town Centre, within short walking distance of shops, Ipswich Library and Tower Ramparts bus station. It is a 38-bed supported accommodation providing shared housing for vulnerable young people.
Interview Date: Wednesday 11th and Friday 13th June 2025.
