We are looking for a Rehousing Support Officer to join our team in Oxfordshire. This is a permanent role, where you'll be working from the Newbury office, home or one of our scheme offices. The starting salary will be £32,000 to £38,000 depending on your experience.
The Role: Our Rehousing Support Officers work with customers when they have to move out of their homes. This could be due to redevelopment or the disposal of the property as part of our strategic asset management plan. As a Rehousing Support Officer, you'll own and build the relationship with your customers, working with them from the point of notification through to helping them move to a permanent new home. You'll make sure the move is done in the best way possible and within the appropriate timelines.
What we are looking for:
- Direct experience of delivering a customer focused service
- The ability to work with teams across the business and our external partners
- A proactive approach taking both sensitivities and deadlines into account
- Excellent communication skills, keeping both the customer and colleagues informed during the whole process
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- Experience within a housing role is desirable but not essential
- Full driving licence and access to your own transport
