Hybrid Homeworking with office base in Norwich (minimum 2 days per week in office). Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Starting Salary: £27,025, with progression opportunities to £28,750 per annum. Permanent Contract.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our busy team. This position supports our repairs service by delivering effective and efficient scheduling focused on Electrical Compliance, aiming to maximise productivity and improve resident satisfaction. Some of the main duties of the role include:

  • Activity scheduling of Electrical Inspection Condition Reports (EICR) appointments to be completed within the relevant timescales and ensuring that diaries are scheduled efficiently and proactively for best use of time for our Operatives.
  • Scheduling electrical remedial works where required from EICRs within regulatory timeframes.
  • Communicating effectively at every stage of scheduling and job interaction with residents to keep them informed, reduce complaints, and liaising with Operatives, contractors and suppliers to deliver a seamless service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and hard‑working, able to manage time and diaries efficiently and use their own initiative on a daily basis. Experience of working within a customer‑facing role (or over the phone) where clear and effective communication is essential is required. Experience in a similar role, preferably in the housing or maintenance sector, is beneficial. The successful candidate will be proficient in using IT and Microsoft programmes and will serve as a digital champion for others within Broadland. About Us

Broadland Housing Association offers more than 5,700 quality homes across Norfolk and North Suffolk. We are a Hybrid Homeworking employer and provide the team with tools to work from home (approximately 60% home and 40% office split). As the role requires attendance at Broadland premises, candidates must live within a 75‑minute commute of our office location (Norwich, NR1 1HU / NR2 2PL).
