- Job Summary
The Marketing Executive (Events) will plan and run campaigns that promote NHF conferences, collaborating closely with colleagues to develop messaging, produce content, and track performance.
This role is hands‑on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys creativity, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact.
Key responsibilities
- Commission design work, copywriting, proofreading, and create web and social media content.
- Build and send email campaigns and help organize the exhibition stand at NHF events.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing communication performance to support continuous improvement.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, tracking promotional spend, event budgets, and raising purchase orders.
- Negotiate and manage external opportunities to promote events and build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively improve marketing activities and collateral wherever possible.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns to promote events, products, or services across a mix of channels (email, web, social media).
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, able to produce clear, engaging, and on‑brand marketing materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support campaigns against income and performance targets.
- Confidence using data and insights to target audiences and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, organised, and improvement‑focused approach, willing to support live events and represent the organisation professionally.
