Independent Living Assistant
Permanent, Part-Time
18.5 – 25 hours (actual hours to be discussed with the right candidate)

Responsibilities
- Provide a varied programme of physical, health and wellbeing promotion activities based on the needs and wishes of customers aged 50+ living in Stockport.
- Assist customers in arranging outings and events, supporting them to take the lead for sustainable living.
- Generate and maintain regular contact; signpost queries and support needs within the allocated geographical area.
- Monitor, inspect, and report issues sighted within the area assigned to you.
- Support Independent Living Officers and Seniors in delivering excellent Intensive Housing Management service to all customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience supporting older adults or in a similar supportive role is desirable.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service required.
