Responsibilities

• Provide a varied programme of physical, health and wellbeing promotion activities based on the needs and wishes of customers aged 50+ living in Stockport.
• Assist customers in arranging outings and events, supporting them to take the lead for sustainable living.
• Generate and maintain regular contact; signpost queries and support needs within the allocated geographical area.
• Monitor, inspect, and report issues sighted within the area assigned to you.
• Support Independent Living Officers and Seniors in delivering excellent Intensive Housing Management service to all customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience supporting older adults or in a similar supportive role is desirable.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service required.
