Do you enjoy helping people gain their independence and thrive? As a Housing Support Worker, you will be working with vulnerable families who may be experiencing homelessness and isolation. You’ll be self-motivated, solution-focused and a forward thinker, with safeguarding awareness to help make a real difference to people’s lives.
What you’ll do:
- Create individual support plans and assess risk.
- Provide regular guidance on tenancy and practical tasks as part of their journey towards independence.
- Prepare properties by making sure they’re a safe and clean environment ready for move in.
What you’ll bring:
- A genuine passion for supporting people with housing and other needs.
- Experience of providing housing advice in 1-1 and group work settings.
- A working knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across Yorkshire and Humberside in your own vehicle.
