Arhag has a rich history and over the last 40 years we have grown to over 900 properties across 15 boroughs, 14 of these in London. Arhag works with a highly diverse client group and strives to provide quality homes that residents can afford. Our mission is to provide the best housing services to our customers whilst developing the potential of migrants and refugees in London. Now is a positive time to join us. Our strategic direction is focused on the customer and driving the use of data to enhance delivery to improve the standard of our service offering, making sure we deliver excellence.
We are looking for an exceptional, ambitious and skilled professional to join us and lead our Property and Assets directorate. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll be a key member of our executive team, positively impacting through organisation-wide leadership and strategic planning. You will have responsibility for our day-to-day reactive repairs contracts and driving forward our asset investment programme.
This role requires a leader who has a passion for housing and customer; someone who is creative and driven to deliver a sector-leading service to the very highest standards for our residents. The postholder will maximise productivity through strong contract management, leading and motivating people to deliver a service which puts residents first, ensuring value for money and increasing resident satisfaction. You will instil a strong performance management culture; one that robustly monitors contractors and makes sure we are continually improving.
Our Executive Director of Property and Assets will deliver a resident focused approach and culture and will be responsible for managing a range of stakeholders, both internal and external. We are a small team and it is vital that this role works closely with the Executive Director of Customer Service to improve the overall quality of the repairs service to residents.
If you are an existing Head of Service or a Director ambitious to work at executive level and motivated to work in a specialist BME housing association where you can really get to know your customers, then please get in touch with us. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to achieving Arhag’s vision to be a truly customer driven, values-led, community focused specialist housing provider.
