Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association provides good quality affordable housing solutions for those with a housing need in Skye and Lochalsh. We own and manage more than 800 properties and we have an active ongoing development programme.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, capable of driving forward and implementing processes, which will support LSHA’s governance, performance and communication functions.
Key Responsibilities- Help deliver our statutory and regulatory governance functions and requirements to ensure compliance.
- Provide governance advice, support and training to Board Members and Staff.
- Develop and implement corporate governance policies.
- Nurture talent and development on our Board through appraisals, succession planning and recruitment and onboarding.
- Monitor and report on our performance and be part of a collaborative team to continuously improve.
- Have knowledge of Data Protection, FOI, social housing & factoring regulations and legislation.
- Provide administrative support to ensure Governing Body Meetings are compliant with legislation and company rules.
- Support our commitments to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion activities and data collection.
- Engage in good practice across the sector and help implement this within our organisation.
