Cernach Housing Association is a successful and well performing community-based registered social landlord (RSL) operating in Drumchapel, North west Glasgow since 1991. We own 877 homes, and we provide a management service to 17 sharing owners and 140 homeowners. We act as community anchor organisation for Drumchapel. Our turnover is £4.8 million, a major part of which comes from rental income.
Cernach Housing Association is looking to appoint a Senior Maintenance Officer who will be a member of the management team. The SMO will lead the maintenance team to deliver excellent performance, be compliant and improve our tenants’ homes. It is an exciting time to join Cernach Housing Association and be part of our journey to further improve our maintenance service by leading the maintenance team and contractors to excel and exceed the expectations of our tenants in the maintenance and improvement of their homes.
We are looking for a leader who has a track record of experience and success in the delivery of the maintenance service and asset management; is passionate about customer service; and has a vision and is dynamic to drive forward and implement plans to improve our maintenance service.
You Should
- HNC/HND in Building Studies/Construction Management or equivalent or demonstrate an acceptable level of transferrable skills and experience.
- Knowledge of asset management, property repairs and maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of current building regulations, health and safety legislation, procurement and sustainability.
