This role will lead housing services that put tenants, communities and service excellence at the heart of everything we do. Loreburn Housing Association is seeking an experienced, values-led and strategic housing leader to join our Executive Team as Executive Director of Housing Services. This is a significant leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and contributing to the overall strategic direction, governance and performance of the Loreburn Group.
With just over 2,700 homes across Dumfries and Galloway, Loreburn is a community-based registered social landlord with a clear mission to create GREAT places to live. As Executive Director of Housing Services, you will lead the delivery, performance and continuous improvement of our housing services, including tenancy management, income management, tenant engagement, allocations, later living, anti-social behaviour and tenancy sustainment. You will ensure services are tenant-led, financially sustainable, value for money and fully aligned with legislative, regulatory and strategic requirements.
This role requires a credible, resilient and robust executive leader who can provide clear strategic advice to the Chief Executive and Management Committee, embed a strong performance and accountability culture, and lead teams with confidence, professionalism and pace. You will champion tenant voice, strengthen service visibility across our communities, manage risk effectively and ensure housing services make a meaningful contribution to Loreburn’s wider ambitions.
We are looking for someone who brings senior housing leadership experience, strong knowledge of the Scottish social housing sector, excellent judgement, and a proven track record of leading high-performing, tenant-focused services. You can demonstrate the impact your work has delivered. You will be confident working at executive and governance level, able to balance strategic leadership with operational assurance, and committed to role modelling Loreburn’s GREAT values.
