Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week

Our organisation is expanding rapidly and we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage the day‑to‑day delivery of care services within a designated Extra Care scheme. The role requires ensuring residents receive safe, high‑quality care tailored to their individual needs and enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day delivery of care services while maintaining high standards of resident safety and dignity.
  • Create and regularly review personalised care plans with residents, families, stakeholders and carers, ensuring all plans meet regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee scheduling of staff rotas, providing adequate and efficient resourcing for all shifts with a focus on value for money.
  • Monitor performance and quality of care services, identify and manage risks effectively.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families and partner agencies, ensuring their concerns are addressed with professionalism and urgency.

Qualifications

  • Proven management/supervisory experience in care services.
  • Strong understanding of care planning and safeguarding.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
  • Experience managing and scheduling staff rotas.
  • Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Level 4 Lead Practitioner in Adult Care or equivalent, or willingness to work toward it if not held.
